Hope you guys have some suggestions, thanks. Im currently running the latest version of Windows 10. it always ends up with me force restarting my computer. Sometimes when i try to join a game, the computer will just freeze and i cant do anything. Specs: APU: Ryzen 7 5700G MB: Asus ROG Strix B550F Gaming WiFi. This just recently started happening to me in LOL loading screen, and sometimes other games to. I have tried with W11 and W10 with no noticeable difference. Lastly I tried to boot using Win10XPE bootable, same problem. The lockups happen especially when gaming or doing 3D rendering stuff. I unplugged everything from the I/O other than keyboard, and also unplugged all SATA drive then tried to boot using USB, didn't work. I tried unplugging 24 Pin motherboard cable and GPU and replugged it, didn't work. I swapped RAM around and cleaned them from dust, didn't work. I tried changing legacy settings in my BIOS, same problem. I reflashed the USB drive again and changed from GPT to MBR/legacy (My PC is at UEFI mode). So I tried booting from USB bootable, same problem. When I tried to boot 3 times, Windows said "A Required Device isn't Connected" with "0xc000000f" fault code. It froze at the spinning wheel (loading screen). Then I turned it on again, BIOS loads, but Windows doesn't. Problem starts when I turned off my PC, monitor and peripherals already shut down but my PC isn't. I just got a new laptop with windows 11 and every time I try to launch stormworks it just freezes on the loading screen sometimes the logo starts to fade away a little but it still freezes. The freeze will start small (1-5 seconds) and will grow over time to 30-45 seconds. went blegh after freezing stuck on junky laptop until it gets fixed. Will their be a fix for those of us on Classic that it is negatively impacting? Thank you.Hi, I have no idea what's going on with my PC. Essentially, the game will temporarily freeze at the following intervals: loading character screen, loading into the game (freeze at 100), and at any time the loading screen needs to load (continent travel, instance, etc.). Once the load starts, the game just frezees, like with a regular Scene load. Loading screen appears, frozen Suddenly new scene fades in. What is happening: Exit level, and fade out. A few times i’ve also noticed that the game sound keeps running through the loading screen, in a looped fashion. My game client will VERY OFTEN hang and or freeze during loading screens, most of them are zoning INTO a BG or dungeon, however I’ve had them do it on loading out too. My computer is fast and my load times are blistering fast when I freshly remove this annoying file.Īccording to the BFA reference forum post I pasted up there, Blizzard eventually fixed the issue. I cannot play the game on a pvp realm if I am taking 30-45 seconds to load when zoning out of an instance and seeing a dead character. Please note, deleting the cache folder does not fix the problem permanently, but only temporarily. This has happened three times in the last hour already. I play on only one realm (Skeram) but I do have many characters (8). I got the PS4 premium version and am playing it on my PS5, but occasionally the game will freeze on loading screens, sometimes going into series quest, sometimes when starting a song. Supposedly, this file continues to grow if you have multiple characters or play on multiple realms. I am having the EXACT same problem with my Classic WoW client. Please see the following reference where this issue affected players on BFA and Blizzard had to implement a fix on their end, which means it was an issue on their end. I have had for about 2 weeks the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3050 Twin Edge and from this time i have a random pc freeze and restart. The only solution is to delete this file. It is caused by the file DBCache.bin growing over time. If your PC freezes during the Reset process, try making Windows 10 installation media on another computer. My game will fix itself to fast load times however, after a few days the loading issues return. The freeze will start small (1-5 seconds) and will grow over time to 30-45 seconds.Īfter completely resetting my entire UI per Blizzard’s online instructions by deleting my Cache, Interface, and WTF folders.
